Serious Crash Closes Route 9 In Central Jersey

A serious crash closed Route 9 in Sayreville, authorities said.

The crash occurred southbound at about 6 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21 near Bordentown Avenue (Route 615), according to the New Jersey Department of Transporation.

At 9 a.m., two right lanes of three lanes remained closed for an investigation, 511nj.org reported.
